Recently drilling has been changed a lot, the old experience did not work, people has their own new design. “Zero discharge mud systems” are urgently required because of the environment protection. Auger box, screw conveyor can be used to collect the drilling cuttings from shale shaker, desander, desilter, mud cleaner, dewatering unit and centrifuge, then transfer them to a catch pit for later processing. In some development company where the government did not have strict regulation on environment protection, they even do not use any mud system, and let the drilling fluids discharged directly. They may face big problem in the future.
Dewatering unit is required to work together with the system, it can make further process of the fluids after processed by centrifuge after the well is finished.

There is mud gun manifold for the whole system, and the mud gun involves all the tanks. Mediume pressure pipes connect tanks, which is sealed, reliable and convenient for installation and uninstall. The output manifold of mud pumps supply the entire mud manifold with mud fluid. Users can add input joint for mud medium pressure pipeline at the position showing in the figure.
JBQ mud agitator is a part of solid control system of mud tank, which is mainly used in agitating and blending drilling fluid so as to control the depositions of solid particles in its tank cycling system and keep the mud property of circulation stable and mixture uniform.

Oil Well Choke & Kill Manifold are a kind of well-control equipments, GN solids control do not produce such equipments, our products range including a complete set of solids control equipments and mud tanks.
An arrangement of piping or valves designed to control, distribute and often monitor fluid flow. Manifolds are often configured for specific functions, such as a choke manifold used in well-control operations and a squeeze manifold used in squeeze-cementing work. In each case, the functional requirements of the operation have been addressed in the configuration of the manifold and the degree of control and instrumentation required.
Oil well choke manifold is high-pressure pipe leading from an outlet on the BOP stack to the backpressure choke and associated manifold. During well-control operations, the fluid under pressure in the wellbore flows out of the well through the choke line to the choke, reducing the fluid pressure to atmospheric pressure. In floating offshore operations, the choke and kill lines exit the subsea BOP stack and then run along the outside of the drilling riser to the surface.
A choke manifold is used to lower the pressure from the well head. It consists of a set of high pressure valves and at least two chokes. These chokes can be fixed or adjustable or a mix of both. The redundancy is needed so that if one choke has to be taken out of service, the flow can be directed through another one. these long choke and kill lines must be considered to control the well properly.
Vibrating screen normally called shale shaker in oil and gas drilling industry. GN solids control produce vibrating screen machine and replacement screens for it.
By the motor force and adjusting the amplitude of the eccentric shaft, vibrating screen moves quickly like a circle. Materials in the sieve case can be saperated and screened from the sieve pore in this process.

Shear pump is usually used together with Jet mud mixing unit, to be assembled as a jet shearing unit in oilfield solids control system.

The jet shearing unit is formed by shear pump, mixing hopper, pipeline and polymer/clay hydrator. For installation transportation, the polymer/clay hydrator is formed by a separate compartment.

The pump should be located the liquid source so that the suction line can be short and reduce loses. The foundation should be sufficiently rigid and substantial to absorb any vibration and support the base plate at all points. The base plate should be installed in a level position.
The JQB series shear pump adopts a set of compound seal for no leakage at stuffing box. Inside pump is a 300series stainless steel turbine containing 44 nozzles, four scoops and shear plate. Fifty(50)% of the fluid is sheared twice each time through the pump. This turbine shear pump is mounted on a special base with belts and sheaves to drive pump, OSHA type belt guard and a electric motor. Included is a special hopper(ZHP150) with nozzle sized for this application and one mud kit as a package in order to build a complete shear and hydration system. The pump is designed to give longer service life through the improved shaft seal.
There are many principles of proper pump installation and application as well as special considerations for the pump design which, if followed, will further enhance the performance of your shear pump.
