GN is one of the few company who can design and manufacture the 500 GPM drilling waste liquid and waste cutting treatment system.Because very few companies manufacture the vertical cutting dryer and big bowl big volume decanter centrifuges.
Part I, Drilling Waste Liquid Treatment
The liquid transport trailer with the waste liquids would unload directly over a 3 panel scalping shaker(GNZS853) mounted on top of a 250 bbl tank (#1) with at least 2 mix agitators in the tank and possibly some gun lines to circulate liquid in corners of tank.
Out of tank #1 need a centrifugal pump(50HP) to feed a desander cleaner (GNZJ852-1S)cone at 500 gal/min with 2 panel shaker mounted on top of 150 bbl tank(#2). 2 agitators in tank #2 and possibly some gun lines to circulate liquid in corners of tank.
Out of tank #2 need a centrifugal pump(50HP) to feed desilter cleaner(GNZJ852-8N) cones at 500 gal/min with 2 panel shaker mounted on top of 150 bbl tank(#3). 2 agitators in tank #3.Out of tank #3 need a centrifuge feed pump to feed a VFD controlled centrifuge(GNLW553VFD) mounted on top of 150 bbl tank(#4). 1 agitator in tank #4.Out of tank #4 need a centrifuge feed pump to feed a VFD controlled centrifuge mounted on top of 150 bbl tank(#5). 1 agitator in tank #5.
From tank #5 liquid will be pumped with a centrifuge feed pump thru a polymer injection/emulsion break chemical injection system to various oil/water separator tanks.
Part 2: Drilling Waste Cuttings Treatment.
Drill cuttings off the primary shaker(Solids Control of the Rig) when brought to site, will be sent to the 2 cuttings dryers(GNCD930) mounted up on a stand to allow front end loader to remove solids from under dryer. Cuttings will be fed to dryers 2 feed augers, the liquids from the dryer will be dropped into 100bbl tank (#6) with 1 agitator. Liquids from the 100bbl tank will be recirculated to dryer and pumped (with a separate centrifuge feed pump) to a high speed VFD controlled centrifuge for processing and oil stored in 300bbl tank(#7) below centrifuge.
From tank #7 liquid will be pumped with a centrifuge feed pump thru a polymer injection/emulsion break chemical injection system to various oil/water separator tanks.
From Wiki about Drilling cutting:
Drill cuttings[1] are the broken bits of solid material removed from a borehole drilled by rotary, percussion, or auger methods. Boreholes drilled in this way include oil or gas wells, water wells, and holes drilled for geotechnical investigations or mineral exploration.
The drill cuttings are commonly examined to make a record (a well log) of the subsurface materials penetrated at various depths. In the oil industry, this is often called a mud log.
Drill cuttings are produced as the rock is broken by the drill bit advancing through the rock or soil; the cuttings are usually carried to the surface by drilling fluid circulating up from the drill bit. Drill cuttings are separated from the drilling fluid by shale shakers (for liquid drilling fluid), or by cyclone separators (for air drilling). In cable-tool drilling, the drill cuttings are periodically bailed out of the bottom of the hole. In auger drilling, cuttings are carried to the surface on the auger flights.
