GN designed and produced oil drilling solids control system and drilling mud recycling system have been operated in the rig sites of 60 countries in the world, including Cuba. Estimates of total oil reserves in Cuba are varied, and depend mainly on estimations of undiscovered offshore deposits in the North Cuba Basin. Fearing an oil spill in Cuban waters, U.S. officials have forged a bond with the Castro regime to preserve the threatened marine ecosystem that connects the island nation to the Florida coast.
Below photos showed the workover rig solids control system used in Cuba: It including one set of XJ450 workover rig solids control system and one set of XJ650 workover rig mud recycling system. The main configurations are as below:
XJ450 workover rig solids control system:
2 units of mud tanks with mud agitators, mud guns, hoppers
1 unit of water tank
1 unit of waste collection box
XJ650 workover rig mud recycling system:
2 units of mud tanks with mud agitators, mud guns, hoppers and shale shaker GNZS703E-HB
1 unit of diesel tank
1 unit of water tank
1 unit of fuel tank
1 unit of waste collection box
1 set of mud gas separator
The main features of these mud tanks are not traditional Rectangle tank, but V-bottom tank for easy cleaning of solids. Except for such design, we can also provide customized design tank like round bottom tank for easy cleaning, trailer/wheel mounted mud tank for easy transportation, and 3-runner oilfield standard design mud tanks. The mud tanks qty and total system volume can be also customized. If only the end-user have such special requirement, we will try our best to provide the best solution for your rigsite.
