Petroleum Drilling mud Solids Control Equipment is a complete system which can be purchased as a whole or piece by piece as the user can afford to upgrade his system.
The LINEAR MOTION shale SHAKERS will affect mud costs, make running polymer muds feasible and reduce liquid waste.
When used along with a DESANDER the drilling mud can be used to drill massive shallow sands without overloading the drilling mud system with abrasive/coarse solids. This prevents excessive density and viscosity which would necessitate dumping volume to make room for dilution.
A third shaker and desilter, consisting of a bank of 4” desilting cones will further control the build up of solids and reduce the amount of liquid wasted substantially. However, on deeper wells and those with troublesome shale a build up of solids less than 70 microns will result in deteriorating mud properties, which again will necessitate dumping volume to make room for dilution.
With the inclusion of a decanting centrifuge, the closed loop system will allow the removal of solids from 2 microns up to 70 microns. Mud density can generally be controlled for long periods in an unweighted (no barite) system.

What you need to do to fix your existing system is that you get the customized desilter from us,and link the pipes with it,it’s simple work for engineers.

Jessie , The biggest problem ( weakness ) with our system is the bottom shale shaker screen which is used for scalping . Even if we run very course screens (50mesh) with say 50US gpms running over it the material comes off wet ( liquid like ) . The drying screen at the top seems to be ok most of the time which we run our 6 x 3″ cones over . The top screen we usually run 150 – 210 mesh screens .
We think our vibrating G forces are not correct , they are 1.5hps motors set with on 100% counter weights .
I think we need flat screen technology with wedges similar to the kemtron models and have 3 decks
The two lower decks being scalpers and top deck a during screen under your six cones .
The basket needs to fully adjustable .
We need to pump very heavy mud at 200 US over the scalping screens to fix the problems .
Our desilt pump will handle 6 4″ cones
How many US gpms will the system in the picture process over the scalpershale shaker screen .

The main goal of the mud equipment and waste
handling system is to maintain drilling fluid properties and
minimize waste haul off without slowing down the
drilling process.
The dry locations require haul off of drilled cuttings
and waste mud. The system design needs to strive
for minimum of haul off by yielding cuttings in as dry
a state as possible and for a minimum of mud
dumping and dilution to maintain properties. These
goals will help minimize costs by minimizing waste
volumes (cuttings and mud) that require trucking and
disposal.
With the dry loWith the dry location, no sand trap (settling pit)
would be used in the mud handling system.
Use a pad rig with a fully mobile mud system to
eliminate the use of transfer pumps that caused
problems for other operators.
With the fairly coarse sand to be drilled, the shale
shaker can be the heart of the mud handling system. However, if
screen blinding is a problem and coarse screens are
required, then a great deal of the sand cuttings will
hydrocylones desander ,desilter will become the heart of the system.
Sufficient capacity will be required to process the
sand at expected drilling rates without overloading.
The low drilling mud weight requirements and dry discharge requirements necessitate that the cones be operated as efficiently as possible and that the cone underflow be centrifuged.

Determining the correct machine style and model size requires a thorough understanding of the application and very often sample testing. Decanter centrifuge in the drilling mud management system are used after the mud Cleaner.As we know the first stage we use shale shaker,and the second,we use mud cleaner.For some drilling mud management system ,we also use vacuum degasser.

When the Hamaca project was begun, there were already three operators working on heavy oil developments in the Faja: Petrozuata, Sincor, and Cerro Negro. Before the Hamaca project was started, these
operations were visited to help determine current best practices and problems that needed to be addressed.Each of these operators use pad drilling rigs, which are rigs that are designed to move quickly from well to well on a multi-well pad. These rigs use stationary mud processing systems (see picture) that are connected to the mobile rig by flexible umbilicals. The flow line shale shakers and one mud tank (sand trap plus one compartment) move with the rig. The mud is pumped from this pit through an umbilical to a stationary tank where the fluid is processed by various desilter,desander hydrocyclones,mud cleaner, and decanter centrifuge to clean the mud. The clean mud is pumped back to the rig through umbilicals.
Simple fresh water-based mud is typically used in the 12-1/4 inch intermediate section. Hole cleaning in the curve is the main concern, and xanthan biopolymers are used to enhance hole cleaning.There were basically two different drill-in fluid systems inuse in the Faja for drilling the 8-1/2 inch section. One is a very typical water-based drill-in fluid with xanthan biopolymer for rheology control, starch for fluid loss control, calcium carbonate for bridging, and biocide. The other system is solids-free: simply xanthan biopolymer and biocide.

How Does An Oilfield Industrial decanter Centrifuge Work?
A decanter centrifuge works by spinning a vessel containing the material to be separated at high speed. It is very much like the rides at the fairground that rotate. You have to lean towards the center to overcome the force caused by the rotation. In fact, some rides are designed specifically to press your body against a back support. The decanter centrifuge spins at very high speeds and pushes the ‘heavy phase’, usually the solids, to the outside of the vessel, just as you would see in the clear flask standing on the bench top.
