Mud cleaner maintenance including

1 vibration motor maintenance

(1)Clean dust on shell regularly

(2)Before operating, must check the bolts to confirm whether there is loose or not. Otherwise, we must screw bolts tight before running shaker

(3)Inspect the cable, whether there is wear, hold down, crushing, etc.

(4)the vibration motor should be under good lubrication during operation:

Motors before fixed on shaker, the bearing is filled with SKF specific lubricate grease, the temperature range is -40 ~ 200℃

2 shaker screen maintenance

(1)Before every shut off, the shaker should run without any load for 5-10 minutes, at the same time, use clean water to flush screen clean

(2)Every time finish operation, the shaker frame and screen should be flushed by water. Pls replace new screen or repair the damaged screen once it is found damage, otherwise large cutting may dropped into the clean mud and influence the following process.

Two Drilled solids discharge centrifuges, with suitable feed pumps, capable of running in continuous operation, suitable for:

Drilling mud decanter centrifuge is the fourth stage equipments for a drilling mud system.Drilling mud cleaning first stage uses drilling fluids shale shaker ,then second stage uses desander,third desilter,(now drilling mud cleaner is widely used to replace desander,desilter).

The drilling mud decanter centrifuges can separate fine particles well,for separating 5~7μm particles in drilling mud,usually use medium speed decanter centrifuge,for less then 2μm,usually use high speed decanter centrifuges.

Principle of Operation
Bowl Speed – Depending on the model specification, drilling mud decanter cenrifuges are equipped with either fixed or variable speed arrangement on the main drive enabling the operator to adjust the bowl speed between 1200 and 3850 rpm within a few seconds.  This option, combined with variable conveyor speed, gives a unique dimension to the use of decanters for drilling fluids treatment. The optimum speed for solids removal for a specific cut point depends on the composition of the drilling fluid and the nature of the drill cuttings.

Feed Rate – In general a single drilling fluid decanter is capable of a process feed rate of up to 200 gpm. The treatment capacity is influenced by mud type and mud rheology. On drilling rigs it is common to utilize a minimum of two decanters installed in tandem for low weight muds and in series on high-density muds where barite recovery is necessary.
