Shale shaker is the first stage for solids control system, removing big particles by separation shaker screen. We have different model shale shaker for option, from 2 panel shaker, 3 panel shaker to 4 panel shaker. Different model shale shaker is suitable for different field application. Eg. The 2 panel mini shaker is mostly used for small drill rigs, like diamond drilling, core drilling, mining, water well drilling etc. The 4 panel shale shaker is mostly used for oil drilling rigs with higher horse power. 4 panel shaker is also the max. in size which is suitable for big mud cleaning systems.

Recently, we ship 2 sets shale shaker with 60pcs shaker screen to one domestic client. The clients require 2 sets 3 panel shaker for HDD project; replace the old shakers in the mud system. We have assembly parts for shaker and only 15 days after receiving the deposit, we deliver the cargo to clients by truck. After update the mud system with new shaker, the mud system now is working perfectly with the drill rigs to conduct the HDD projects.

1) 3 sets of mud agitator for Africa client

The client bought this agitator is GN old client who already bought 2 sets 500gpm compact mud system for HDD drilling. They are really happy about the high quality of mud system and the premium working performance of the mud system. The 500gpm mud system is equipped with 4 panel shale shaker and 4 panel mud cleaner. The shaker screen is composite material shaker screen with much better working performance, longer lifetime and less maintenance. Actually, this client also bought one sets 200gpm mud system in year of 2013 for Dubai project.

2) 2 sets shale shaker for Middle East client

The shale shaker is to update the mud system the client already have for over 2 years. The client buy 2 sets new shale shaker to update their old mud system and this is relative lower cost to ongoing the new project. Because of the down market, many clients want to deduct budget, save cost and do more project. We recommend client to renew the mud system with new equipment, new shaker, new centrifugal pump, new mud cleaner and new agitator. Generally, the mud tanks can last longer time if the daily maintenance is doing each time after use.

The client is local drilling client for HDD project. The client is providing water well drilling contract to government companies, government oil drilling companies etc. Last year in Feb, 2015, the client bought two sets mud cleaning system. Each set mud system only with one mud recycling tank, mounting with one set shale shaker & one set mud cleaner.

Recently, the client is requiring one more compact mud system for water well drilling, 500gpm system with two tanks. One shaker tank is with shale shaker and mud cleaner, one mud mixing tank with agitators or centrifugal pumps.

 

Simple introduction of GN 500gpm mud system as below.

One shale shaker mud tank system including: one set shale shaker, one set mud cleaner, two sets centrifugal pumps. The shale shaker is GN patent 3 panel shale shaker, which have over 5 years jobsite experience. The shaker can work well in different hard conditions. The mud cleaner is GN 3 panel mud cleaner with GN compact design, down deck shaker and desilter cones. Another tank is mud mixing tank with mud agitators, mud guns and mud hopper for chemical mixing.

Except for this mud system, GN drilling waste management equipment is also very popular in the world.

Waste management centrifuge: GN decanter centrifuge is working after replacing USA brand centrifuges. The centrifuge can work for solids control, waste management, waste water treatment ect.  In solids control application, 2500rpm is generally used for mud weight cutting, and 1800rpm to 2000rpm is generally used for barite recovery.  In drilling waste management, 2500rpm to 3000rpm is generally used for removal the fine solids. In waste water treatment, higher speed centrifuge is required after chemical enhancement.

Vertical cuttings dryer is also called VG dryer, VG dryer can treat the drilling cuttings discharged from shale shaker, the OOC after VG dryer can reduce to about 3% to 5%, and the dry solids can be collected by cuttings skips and transport by trucks to a cuttings center for final treatment.

Recently, we have one overseas clients requiring one sets 500gpm mud recycling tank system for HDD project. The client is GN old client who bought one set 500gpm system 3 years before. Now, they need more equipment to support the upcoming new projects. Based on the former mud system, the clients give request on the technical parameters:

 Part 1: Recycle unit:

Same layout as their original unit – shale shaker, shaker with desnader and desilter, 2x pumps for cyclone and 1x feed \ transfer pump

Delete the mud hopper

Size of 40ft container with locking device for track

Recycle unit will be 7.5m length and rest of the length will be flat skid for mount in Generator

Unit needs to have lifting hooks for crane

Feed hose entrance from pit and clean mud hose needs to be at the base floor height – unit is going to be mounting permanent on track.

Electrical panels must be height quality and have power socket for pit pump 22kw

Submersible slurry pump, or Pit pump 22kw x 2units

The width of the unit with the rail folded cannot be more then 2.5m

Total height of the unit 3.20m – so if volume size is changed please extend the length of the unit from 7.5m to more.

The Bentonite / Barite mixing system including two parts.

Part 1: mud tank system with mud gun & mud agitators, walkways, handrails, ladders, pipelines, clean gate included.
