Chile has the world’s largest copper reserves and is also the largest producer and exporter of the metal. In 2011, Chile expects global copper output will reach 16.5 million tonnes, an increase of 345,000 tonnes over 2010. Of the 16.5 million tonnes of output, Chile expects to supply 5.7 million, roughly one-third of the total demand.

Repairing an oil well sometimes requires a workover. It is commonly called by several names such as completion rig, workover rig, or pulling unit.

In many cases, workover implies the removal and replacement of the production tubing string after the well has been killed and a workover rig has been placed on location. Through-tubing workover operations, using coiled tubing, snubbing or slickline equipment, are routinely conducted to complete treatments or well service activities that avoid a full workover where the tubing is removed. This operation saves considerable time and expense.

Of all the problems that can occur during production, three stand out the most: equipment failure, wellbore problems, and saltwater disposal.
WELLBORE PROBLEMS
Sanding, formation damage, paraffin accumulation, oil-water emulsions, and corrosion are common wellbore problems.
GN workover rig solids control system is mainly used for sanding problem. The system can separate large particles sand from the drilling fluids so the drilling mud can be recycled for drilling and “kill”the well. The working principle is to clean the drilling mud by 4 phase cleaning, they are shale shaker, desander, desilter, decanter centrifuge. But usually for workover operation, sometimes you can use a shale shaker and centrifuge only, because the sand size is not so large, but it needs to separate finer particles than oil& gas drilling.

Centrifuagal pump is widely used, in all the industry and agriculture even in the life. In the oil well drilling, or just water well drilling, HDD, environment protection, they are core parts though there are a lot of equipments. They charge the transportation for the separation work.
What they really do is pump the mixture of solids and slurry or drilling fluids from one stage of separation to another stage. As shown in the picture. 
In the jet mixing system, they pump the fluids to go through the venture hopper, then the chemical things or other materials can be added. and then go back to the tank.

Please contact GN Solids Control representative with your tank dimensions and maximum mud weights for the correct agitator model, horsepower, impeller (size, type and quantity), and shaft length to meet your requirements.
Mud tank dimension is used to confirm the length of the shaft and the type of the impellers.
Which brand do you prefer, do you need explosion prevent motors.
This is the key part of tank agitator. Inch-bound is always needed. How to matching with the motor, and which rotate ratio is you really need.(Usually 60 or 72r/min)

Mud Tank Feature
A mud tank is an open-top container, typically made of steel, to store drilling fluid on a drilling rig. They are also called mud pits, because they used to be nothing more than pits dug out of the earth. The mud tank is devided into Square tank and Cone-shaped tank according to the shape of tank bottom. The body of the tank is made of welding the steel plate and section, using the flat cone-shape structure or the corrugated structure.
