Tri-Flo 1200 Gallon Mud SystemThe equipment is based upon the highly successful Tri-Flo 1200 Gallon Mud System which has the following advantages:

Drilling mud equipments:

Pre-screening of the returned mud using a Tri-Flo 123 Shale Shaker.

Secondary cleaning of the returned mud using a Tri-Flo 4 x 4″ Mud Cleaner.

Integral mixing system using a Tri-Flo 3″ Jet Mixing Hopper.

A total of 1200 US gallons (4,500 litres) is provided, with a division separating the clean mud from the dirty mud in the ratio 60:40.
This provides the optimum balance for most drilling operations.

Drilling mud decanter centrifuge is the fourth stage equipments for a drilling mud system.Drilling mud cleaning first stage uses drilling fluids shale shaker ,then second stage uses desander,third desilter,(now drilling mud cleaner is widely used to replace desander,desilter).

The drilling mud decanter centrifuges can separate fine particles well,for separating 5～7μm particles in drilling mud,usually use medium speed decanter centrifuge,for less then 2μm,usually use high speed decanter centrifuges.

Principle of Operation
Bowl Speed – Depending on the model specification, drilling mud decanter cenrifuges are equipped with either fixed or variable speed arrangement on the main drive enabling the operator to adjust the bowl speed between 1200 and 3850 rpm within a few seconds.  This option, combined with variable conveyor speed, gives a unique dimension to the use of decanters for drilling fluids treatment. The optimum speed for solids removal for a specific cut point depends on the composition of the drilling fluid and the nature of the drill cuttings.

Shale shaker,desander,sand pump,and decanter centrifuge are main equipments for drilling mud solids control,the flowing is the report of using conditions for 13 oil wells.

• Drilling fluids shale shaker

In 13 oil wells, 5 wells use ZS2×1.15×2/3P low-frequency shale shaker, two wells teams using QGZS-G4 Ⅱ high frequency shale shaker, six wells teams using the DHL-1 high-frequency shale shaker. Accounted for using the number of high-frequency screen 61.5%, compared with last year have more greatly enhanced. One QGZS-G4 Ⅱ high-frequency shale shaker for the newly introduced, are used in good condition.

• 2, Desander

In 13 oil wells, 5 wells teams using the NCS-300 × 2-type Desander, two wells teams using ZCSQ-250×2-type Desander, six wells teams using the ZQJ-250 ×2-type Desander; accounting for the use of the number of 38.46% and 15.39%, 46.15%. Compared to last year, not the magnitude of changes, only to add two new Desander use.

• 3, Sand pump

In 13 oil wells a total of 12 teams use the SB-200 wells electric sand pump, a well teams using the SB-6″×8″ electric sand pump. Compared with last year, out of the belt transmission-type sand pump at the same time, the introduction of a new type of mechanical seal type sand pump.

After many years of practical use and continuous upgrading of the decanter centrifuge has been raised from a variety of models of multiple manufacturers into a relatively neat two manufacturers of the three models (which LW450×1000-NJ-type centrifuge at the end of March 2003 to replace eliminated); separation factor reached 800 or more, speed at 1800r/min above are more capable in  separating Sand, but also  facilitate equipment maintenance and management.

Gas Buster is called also called vacuum degasser in oilfield drilling fluids gas separating.

A  Gas Buster is a simple separator vessel used to remove free or entrained gas from fluids circulated in the wellbore, such as mud used during drilling operations. The gas buster typically comprises a vessel containing a series of baffles with a liquid exit on the bottom and a gas-vent line at the top of the vessel.

GN oilfield Gas Buster

Our oilfield Gas Buster operates on a “thin strata” principle. The drill mud enters the tank and forces it to flow and distributed to a layer of internal baffle plates engineered to allow the liquid inside the oilfield Gas Buster to flow as thin film and is exposed to the vacuum within the vessel. This layer of mud allows the gas to escape or break out of the mud . The vacuum pump releases the gas and discharge it to the disposal line. Mud exits the vessel under the action of the venturi and is returned to the mud system.

GN Gas Buster operates in three functions – mud circulation, vacuum creation and gas removal.  The Gas Buster  is used to remove the small entrained gas bubbles left in the mud by the mud/gas separator. These units are positioned downstream from mud/gas separators, gumbo removal equipments (if utilized), shale shakers and mud conditioners (if utilized), while hydrocyclone desander and Decanting centrifuges follow in the arrangement.

Gas Buster type

Vacuum tank degasser Type is the most common form of degasser. Vacuum tank degasser  can be horizontal, vertical or round vessel. A vacuum action is created to pull in the gas cut mud. When the liquid enters the tank it will flow and be distributed to a layer of internal baffle plates designed for the mud to flow in thin laminar film and is exposed to a vacuum that forces the gas to escape and break out of the mud.The vacuum pump moves the escaping gas from the vessel discharging it to the rig’s flare or environmental control system. Vacuum degassers are neccessory for drilling mud system in oilfield.
