We are looking for a Decanter centrifuge suitable for foundation industry. We are a Qatar based construction company involved in the deep foundation for high rise buildings, bridges, industrial plants etc. We are using world renowned drilling machines from Bauer Germany and SANY china for drilling the vertical holes in the ground to a depth of ranging from 15 meter ~65 meter. We have got diaphragm wall cutters to do the rectangular vertical drilling in the ground. We normally use bentonite or polymer slurry during drilling. We are already using Desanders & desilters for separating the solids from slurry to make it reusable.

Principle of Operation
Bowl Speed – Depending on the model specification, drilling mud decanter cenrifuges are equipped with either fixed or variable speed arrangement on the main drive enabling the operator to adjust the bowl speed between 1200 and 3850 rpm within a few seconds.  This option, combined with variable conveyor speed, gives a unique dimension to the use of decanters for drilling fluids treatment. The optimum speed for solids removal for a specific cut point depends on the composition of the drilling fluid and the nature of the drill cuttings.

a)     Low-speed oilfield decanter centrifuge: it is also called “barite recovery” centrifuge. Its separating factor is 500~700. To low-density solids, its separating point is 6~10μm. To high-density solids, its separating point is 4~7μm. This kind of centrifuge can be used for recovering barite.

b)    Medium-speed oilfield decanter centrifuge: its separating factor is 800 or so, solids of 5~7μm can be separated, so harmful solids can be separated from the mud, so that gravity and viscosity of the mud can be controlled. Most drill team will choose this kind of centrifuge at present.

c)High-speed oilfield decanter centrifuge: its separating factor is 1200~2100 or so, separating point is 2~5μm, it can remove harmful solids, control mud viscosity, it is usually connected with low speed centrifuge to make up a dual centrifuge system(See figure 3). In the system, low-speed centrifuge is installed at the first grade, barite separated
