The bowl decanter can meet the following features:
1 Electric motor and control panel are explosion proof and have ATEX certificate.
2 The decanter centrifuge can work both in 400V/50HZ and 440V/60HZ. When you finished the drilling operation in one site, you can only change pulley belts to use it in different electric ratings.
3 The control panel utilized in zone 1,exp standard is Eex deⅡBT6.
4 The centrifuge used in ATEX EX zone 2(CAT 3G), TEMP T3 hazardous area.
5 Erosion affected area to be protected with abrasion protection –Tungsten Carbide coated stainless steel parts.
6 Include a signal line, with equipment fitted for a local/remote switch and a signal stating to the remote locatation(SPDT contact) LOCAL status which shall block any remote functionality and a similar stating remote status which likewise shall block any local actions.
7 Nominal treating capacity is 40m3/h,actual treating capacity is 30m3/h.
8 The max rotary speed can reach 3200rpm in 60HZ.

Bowl
The bowl has a cylindrical/conical shape and rotates at a pre-set speed optimal for the application. The slurry rotates with a different scroll design or by modifying an existing scroll. Scroll pitch and single or multiple flight configurations are important design variables.

The scroll rotates at a slightly different speed than the bowl and conveys the deposited solids toward the conical end of the bowl.
Materials of construction
GN solids control uses high-quality stainless steel for all wetted areas. Bowl and scroll castings are made from centrifugal cast high strength and corrosion resistant stainless steel.

How a decanter centrifuge works
A decanter centrifuge separates solids from one or two liquid phases in one single continuous process. This is done using centrifugal forces that can be well beyond 3000 times greater than gravity.
When subject to such forces, the denser solid particles are pressed outwards against the rotating bowl wall, while the less dense liquid phase forms a concentric inner layer. Different dam plates are used to vary the depth of the liquid – the so-called pond – as required.
The sediment formed by the solid particles is continuously removed by the screw conveyor, which rotates at a different speed than the bowl. As a result, the solids are gradually “ploughed” out of the pond and up the conical “beach”.
The centrifugal force compacts the solids and expels the surplus liquid. The dried solids then discharge from the bowl. The clarified liquid phase or phases overflow the dam plates situated at the opposite end of the bowl. Baffles within the centrifuge casing direct the separated phases into the correct flow path and prevent any risk of cross-contamination. The speed of the screw conveyor may be automatically adjusted by use of the variable frequency drive (VFD) in order to adjust to variation in the solids load.

- Anti-overload
The device protects the Compensating gear from torque overload, which is installed in the outside end of the Compensating gear. While overload cuts off spring clutch with driving shaft, the face of spring move the gland down to outside for 6mm and the stroke faucet switch on to switch off the power of main motor and fluid supply pump.

In the dual motor driving system without inverter speed-adjustable device, the correct program for starting a centrifuge is:
1) Firstly start the auxiliary motor.
2) After thirty second, the main motor allows to be started.
The correct program for stopping a centrifuge is as follow:
1) Firstly stop the main motor.
2) After ten minutes, the electric interlock device will automatically switch the power of the auxiliary motor.
With the electric interlock device, the correct program can be automatically carried out and unexpected result from wrong operation can be avoided.

Compare with LW450x1000N, LW600x1000N has larger treating capacity and larger bowl, which can process more drilling fluids in one time and less drilling cost relatively.
